Global Initiatives, Inc. was formed in 1993 with a vision of ChristStyle (Christlike) leaders at every level of society and in every corner of the world. We define leadership as simply one who has responsibility for others. Our calling and commitment is to "To Serve Leaders, and Equip and Mobilize Leaders to Serve." Our vision is to identify, equip and place ChristStyle leaders in transformational leadership roles in church, business, and public service. Our method is relational, not programmatic.

The Strategy
1. Serve Growing Leaders: to identify particular leaders, come along side that leader, and network the relationships and resources necessary to assure his/her success in bringing transformation to his/her "world."
2. Equip Emerging Leaders: to identify young and emerging leaders who have the capacity for becoming catalysts for transformation in "their world," equip, mentor, and walk with these young and emerging leaders as they are placed in strategic and transformational leadership roles.
3. Mobilize Proven Leaders: to mobilize mature and successful leaders to aid in accomplishing those objectives.
4. Build Christ-centered Relationships Around Leadership: to assure that every ChristStyle leader has one who is called to serve him/her in Christ (in a kind of pastoral role), and is surrounded by a circle of friends who walk with him/her providing fellowship, personal friendship, strategic support, wise and Christ-centered counsel, and Biblical accountability.

We envision an international network of cells, or circles of Christ-following friends who walk together, encourage and hold one another accountable in discipleship, and pray for one another and for the leadership of their city, country, or organization.
We have developed, or identified resources to serve those who have the responsibility of leadership. These resources include a curriculum in leadership development entitled, "ChristStyle Leadership: Committed to Serve, Prepared to Lead." We offer a network proven ChristStyle servant leaders who have the gifts, skills, experience and commitment to coach, consult and train in essential leadership principles, networking, vision development, mission definition, strategic planning, team building and resource development. These resources can be applied to an individual leader, leadership team, or can be presented in workshop, retreat, or class format. An emphasis that runs through everything that we do is the importance of long-term committed relationships among those who follow Jesus and serve.
