Summer Health Update

An August/September UpDate on Linda Psaute’s Request for Prayer
8/11
Many of you may be wondering what's been happening here and if we've begun our next season of rehearsals, so it is time I sent you all an update.
Unfortunately, I must tell you that my recovery has been slow, with set-backs after strength seemed to be returning. I had been forewarned that it would take at least July and August to recover, so I wasn't expecting to bounce right back. The last few weeks, however, it looked like I was finally gaining ground, my appetite returned and I felt I was getting stronger. But this last week it seems the virus has flared up again. I am weak again and have no appetite, though I can eat in spite of the discomfort in my stomach.
I am still officially Krankgeschrieben (that means written up sick and can't work), and must go to the doctor again tomorrow to see how we will proceed. She wants to apply for a rehabilitation "Kur" for me, so that I can get help building back up again. I'd really appreciate your prayers about that, that God would direct as to when, where, how long, etc... First, I will have to be well enough to even travel to one. Several people from the choir have offered to drive me to wherever I need to go, which is really nice.
The choir members are being very patient and those who have written or called have told me to take all the time I need to get my health back. Some have told me they are praying for me, though they aren't believers! I hope this will help them to begin conversing with God and thus, find out that He exists and wants to have a relationship with them. Some of the new Christians have met together to pray specifically for me, which is also wonderful. God continues to work in lives and I pray He will fulfill His purposes for this time. We often don't understand what He's doing, but we can know it is good and for our benefit and His glory. May He have His way in us all, and prepare us for Jesus' return, which I hope will be soon.
Thanks so much for your continued prayers for me and for the people in the choirs.
God bless you all,
Linda

Today I'm able to tell you some more about the request I sent you the last time I wrote (above). I got a call from a clinic in Berlin where I have been granted a 3-week rehabilitation "Kur".
It will start already on Thursday. My health insurance pays for everything. It isn't far from where Thomas and Esther Vollenweider (Pastor of a Nazarene Church in Berlin) live, and since we are good friends, that is a wonderful blessing.
I will be in the cardiology section of the clinic, so I'm sure I'll be well taken care of. Thank you for the prayers you have already prayed concerning this. It is clear that God has opened this door.
Now I will appreciate your prayers for the time I am there. This will be an entirely new experience for me, and though I thought I would never want to go to a Kur, I know God is with me and I pray He will continue to direct everything according to His will and glory.
Thanks for all your prayer support during this time!
